ADAG vs Element DMA

ADAG vs Element DMA

Say you run a transmission shop and want more diagnostic work from two neighboring towns. Do you need better service pages so drivers can find you, or do you already get enough calls and need to find out which campaigns bring in the right jobs?

Advanced Digital Automotive Group, or ADAG, offers both SEO and paid advertising under its Auto Repair SEO brand. What stands out in its published offer is how explicitly it defines local content deliverables and territory protection. Element DMA also builds service pages and manages local search, but its published Google Ads workflow goes into more detail about how qualified calls are identified and used for bidding. Those differences matter at different stages of a shop’s growth. ADAG’s auto repair marketing offer · Element DMA’s EGL AI workflow

What does three-mile market protection cover?

3 miles

ADAG advertises local market protection and says it works with one shop per protected market. Ask to see the boundary for your location in writing. ADAG’s public offer

If you compete with another transmission specialist a mile away, exclusivity may carry real weight. If drivers routinely cross town for your specialty, the boundary around your address may cover only part of the market you care about. Ask how ADAG defines the protected area, what happens when two shops serve overlapping towns, and whether the agreement covers every location and marketing service in the proposal.

Territory protection concerns whom an agency takes on as a client. It doesn’t guarantee Google Maps coverage within that radius. Ask either provider how it would measure visibility for the services and towns you actually want to reach.

Compare the pages each shop would actually get

ADAG’s pricing page lists the following plan prices and counts of localized web pages. Its feature table lists setup fees separately. ADAG plans and pricing

BRONZE$1,49820–30 pages
SILVER$2,49855–65 pages
GOLD$3,99875–85 pages
PLATINUM$4,998110–120 pages

The page counts tell you how much content the agency plans to produce. To judge whether that scope fits, ask to see a draft map of service, brand, and service-area pages. For the transmission shop, a page that explains diagnostics, which vehicles the shop services, and what the customer should expect before authorizing work may answer more useful questions than another general repair page for a nearby town.

ADAG’s guidance on AI search also emphasizes clear service information and pages that help drivers decide whether a shop fits their needs. Element DMA’s SEO offering includes technical cleanup, priority service pages, internal links, and organic call and form tracking. Ask each team to pick the first five pages it would build or improve and explain which repair inquiries it expects those pages to help generate. ADAG’s AI search guidance · Element DMA SEO services

Ask what a conversion means before comparing results

ADAG reports that A-Team Transmissions received 187 calls from Google Business Profile in July 2026, up 23% year over year. In a separate example, it reports that Bemer Motor Cars averaged 12.3 weekly Google Ads conversions after optimization, up 124% from its pre-optimization weekly average. One metric counts calls from a business profile. The other counts conversion actions in an ad account. Ask what actions were counted and how many led to appointments or closed repair orders. ADAG’s published results

Element DMA publishes a definition of a qualified call. EGL AI scores eligible first-time calls on a 1–10 scale and counts scores of 6 or higher as qualified. Its rubric looks for repair intent and evidence that the shop can do the work. Element DMA says it sends qualified-call events back to Google Ads so campaigns can optimize toward those opportunities. A qualified inquiry can still end without a booking. EGL scoring methodology · EGL AI and Google Ads

ADAG’s pricing page lists call tracking and paid advertising ROI and ROAS reporting. The public materials reviewed don’t specify whether a call that meets a defined quality threshold is sent back to Google Ads as a bidding signal. Ask both providers to show you the conversion action in the ad account and a sample call behind it. ADAG reporting features

Put both proposals through the same test

  1. Pick one service. Ask which pages, Google Business Profile updates, and paid campaigns would support that service, and why.
  2. Pick one target area. Ask what territory the agreement protects, where the shop can realistically compete in search, and how results will be checked.
  3. Pick one lead to trace. Ask each agency to show the source, qualification, appointment outcome, and any conversion sent back to Google Ads.

Then compare the cost over the same period. ADAG lists setup fees from $0 to $1,498 depending on tier, and its pricing matrix lists Google Ads and Local Services Ads at 20% of ad spend. Confirm how that fee applies to your proposal and what is billed separately. Element DMA publishes EGL Start at $690/month and standalone SEO Foundation at $900/month, with different scopes. Ask both providers to itemize management, ad spend, website work, and the reporting included. ADAG pricing · Element DMA pricing

Which approach fits your shop?

Put ADAG on your shortlist if you need to build out local search coverage and want a proposal that spells out page counts and market protection. Ask to see the proposed page map and territory before you sign.

Put Element DMA on your shortlist if you need to see which paid campaigns produce calls for the work you want, and you want those qualified calls to influence Google Ads optimization. Ask to see the scoring criteria and the conversion data in the ad account.
